An exciting new addition has arrived in our laboratories. Thanks to our cooperation with KIA, we have acquired the latest electric vehicle model, the KIA EV4, which will serve our scientific and educational goals.
This partnership opens the door to direct, hands-on exploration of the latest technologies in electromobility. A major benefit is the opportunity not only to study the vehicle as a whole but also to work with its individual subsystems, including the possibility of their disassembly and experimental testing.

Bridging Theory with Engineering Practice
The vehicle will allow our students and researchers to analyze the hardware and software solutions of a modern electric vehicle in detail, directly within our labs. Furthermore, it will be possible to experimentally verify our own developed systems, algorithms, and procedures on the vehicle, significantly expanding our capabilities in applied research and development.
We believe the KIA EV4 will become a key component of our curriculum and an inspiration for many Bachelor's and Master's theses. Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to "touch" the technologies of the future and bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world engineering practice.

Availability and Cooperation
The vehicle will be available at the faculty until at least December 31, 2028. It is accessible to all our institutes, staff, and students interested in research in this field.
The designated contact person for FEI STU is Ing. Gabriel Gálik, PhD., whom you can contact with ideas and proposals for utilizing this new technological asset.
