Professor Justín Murín received the prestigious CEACM Prof. Mang Award, presented by the Central European Association for Computational Mechanics (CEACM) for extraordinary scientific results in the field of computational mechanics.
CEACM brings together experts from Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovakia. The association is also a member of both the European and world organizations for computational mechanics. It presents several professional awards annually, with the CEACM Prof. Mang Award representing its highest honor.
The award bears the name of Professor Herbert Mang, a prominent figure in global computational mechanics, former President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at TU Wien, and Vice-Rector of TU Wien.
The CEACM Executive Committee presented Professor Justín Murín with this prestigious award for his significant theoretical and practical contributions to the field of computational mechanics.
