FEI STU hosted the first working meeting of the Slovak Semiconductor Competence Center, of which we are a proud partner.
This meeting marks the beginning of a new chapter – not just for our faculty, but for all of Slovakia. Together with colleagues from the Secondary Industrial School in Dubnica (SPŠ Dubnica) and other partners, we are taking concrete steps toward the systematic development of the semiconductor industry in Slovakia.
The main topics of the inaugural meeting included:

Lectures and workshops for high school students and teachers,

Summer schools focused on identifying and developing young talent in the field of electronics.
Our mission is to build an ecosystem aimed at:

Strengthening technical education at both secondary and higher education levels,

Attracting young talents through lectures, workshops, and summer programs,

Helping Slovak companies become part of the European semiconductor supply chain.
We believe Slovakia has the potential to become an important player in the field of semiconductor technologies in Europe. Wish us luck!
