The Institute of Nuclear and Physical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEI STU) provides education for students interested in nuclear energy and physical engineering. The department is engaged in research and development of applications in the field of nuclear energy and materials research.
We strive to prepare students who, upon graduation, will be capable of working in various sectors of nuclear engineering and development — for example, in nuclear power generation, nuclear power plant operational safety, or the design of modern nuclear facilities. Graduates will be equipped to explore new processes in materials and to seek innovative possibilities for their application.
