Application form

For the applicant for study, the admission procedure begins with the delivery of his/her application for study at the faculty conducting the relevant study program. The application must be delivered in electronic form without a secure electronic signature using the Academic Information System of STU (hereinafter "AIS") which enables the verification of the registration of the applicant in the AIS from the date of filing to the date of the termination of the admission procedure.

Documents required

The applicant shall enclose the following documents to the application form:

  • curriculum vitae;
  • official transcript of university diploma, certificate of state examination and certificates of other achievements;
  • list of the graduated courses within the university studies including study results (grades and individual achievements confirmed by the faculty) or the official transcript of supplement to the diploma;
  • copy of admission fee receipt (neither the fee nor its part will be repaid to the applicant after application submission).

Each applicant for study at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava who graduated earlier studies abroad must submit a recognized formal qualification issued by a foreign high school.

Recognition of documents

The applicant who fails to demonstrate the preconditions for admission at the time of verification of the conditions for compliance can be admitted to study conditionally, and is required to demonstrate compliance with the preconditions for admission no later than at the date for enrolment.

 

 Admission fee

The faculty requires the prospective students to pay a fee for the admission procedure administration. The amount of the fee is stipulated by the Directive valid for the academic year in which the accepted applicant is supposed to start his/her studies.

For applicants for a study in English in the academic year 2018/2019 the admission fee is 80.

The fee for the admission procedure administration is paid in advance, and the payment shall be demonstrated by attaching proof of payment to the application form.

In the case of failure in payment of the fee for the admission procedure administration, the applicant will receive the decision not to be admitted to the study program due to a failure to comply with the additional condition for admission to study.

Tuition fee

The annual tuition for master degree study programmes realized in English is 5500 € .

Entrance examination

Verification of knowledge through the entrance examination is from the subjects of the first degree study program associated with the selected program of the second degree. The entrance examination may include verification of interest in the selected study program and the determination of prerequisites for its studying.

Students/applicants with special needs

If a part of the verification of abilities for study consists of the admission exam, an applicant with special needs shall be, at his/her request and based on the evaluation of his/her special needs, determined a form of the admission exam and method of taking it, taking regard of his/her special needs. The applicant with special needs shall deliver the request to modify the form and method of taking the admission exam, together with the written application for study.
